Frankly, I have no idea why I bought this shirt, but I have it for a year or more already. Probably, I got it for cheap somewhere. The usual excuse to buy a new shirt.
This shirt was presented as the away shirt for their 2014 World Cup campaign, but it wasn't used there, but debuted in the 2015 AFCON qualifiers. Sadly, Nigeria will not have the best memories of this campaign, as they failed to qualify as the reigning champion.
Last thing to note: I will go to Abuja in Nigeria in October!
