Tuvalu 2 & 3

Unknown Player
vs. New Caledonia U21 | Pacific Games | 2017 in Vanuatu

I already did have a Tuvalu shirt from the 2018 CONIFA World Football Cup in London, which I co-organised. Hands down, that one was totally perfect for me and my collection and I really didn't need to get more Tuvalu shirts. But then my made Adam got in touch, offering me to join a group order of these Impact shirts that Tuvalu wore at the 2017 Pacific Games, the last tournament they played before the CONIFA tournament in London. In that tournament, Tuvalu was one of the big upsets, beating a (U21) New Caledonia team and the full Tongan national team, who both, unlike Tuvalu, are full FIFA members. That is not bad, given that FIFA members are getting a few millions of funding before playing a single match, while Tuvalu football has to somehow survive on a five-figure budget only.

The shirt itself is a very nice one, too. It is not just made by Impac Sport, a brand unknown to me before I got this shirt, it also has a nice design and is the last shirt to feature the old logo, which shows two palm trees playing a match against each other in the scorching sun and the middle of the ocean. That all is just perfect. Thanks again for sorting it, Adam!
