Monaco is one of 9 UN member states that is not a FIFA member - and one of the few that has never really attempted to become one. They have always been afraid that the local club, AS Monaco, might be kicked out of the French league system, if they join UEFA and FIFA themselves.

Yet, Monaco does have a national team, which is not trivial, given they have just about 30 registered football players with a Monegasque passport. The team was one of the early CONIFA members, as I got them to join in 2013 quite immediately. Just a year later, in 2014, they travelled to the Isle of Man to play the local Ellan Vannin selection, getting absolutely hammered by 0:10. This shirt is matchworn from that match. It is a nice classic design and I was happy to get my hands on it. Some friend asked me to get a Monaco shirt for him and so I just snapped another up for myself as well, as I was on it already. It cost me about 50€.
