Like the Dutch half of the island, Saint Martin is not a member of FIFA, but a full member of CONCACAF and the Caribbean Football Union CFU. In 2023, the team briefly wore Viomar shirts, a small Colombian sports brand. Somehow, I got a chance to get hold of these and just snapped up the Saint Martin home and away shirts for around 40€ each. Even better, both came with a name and number.

If you are wondering about the flag on this post, you are probably too deep down the flag rabbit hole - but also completely right. This is not the official flag of Saint Martin, but rather an inofficial flag. It is called the "Martini flag" and does look a lot like the drink of that name. That is not a coincidence, but a play of words with the name of the island. That's not just lovely, but also much cooler than using the flag of your colonial power, which is why I chose this flag for the post.
