Admittedly, my previous Sudan shirt is a bit dodgy. I still believe that it was worn by some under-something team, but I gave up trying to find a proof for that. It just all never adds up, somehow.

That said, I am looking for new Sudan shirts for ages, which can be a bit of a pain. They are barely for sale anywhere and even older or matchworn shirts just very rarely pop up anywhere. Partly, because the Sudan FA is a bit of a mess itself. This shirt is a great testimony for that.

In 2022, the FA struck a deal with "Solo Sport", who designed and provided them with these shirts for the AFCON 2022. For reasons that remain unknown, the team then hastily replaced these shirts with old Adidas templates, some of which were clearly fakes, during the tournament. Making things worse, they immediately scrapped these shirts after the tournament again and got another new pair of designs. Just wild!

So, I did pay a good amount for these shirts. They became available on the tiny German shop Vi Tva, which still has the white one on offer. Combined, they set me back 150€. Though, I need to place a word of warning here: While the shop owners were always friendly in their communication and the shirt was shipped quickly and definitely is legit, I am still in severe troubles thanks to some mistakes of the shops. The service provider responsible for the payment process on the shop somehow opened a claim for me for an order number and order I never did. I keep telling them exactly that for months now, but they have started pre-trial proceedings against me now, apparently, demanding money for an order I never did and without presenting any proof of any order whatsover. This might well be a unique case and not the fault of Vi Tva, but it is the longest lasting issue of this kind I ever had and the service provider that is making the claims against me keeps ignoring mails and phone calls and adding more fees for no reasons. So be aware and be cautious with Vi Tva - it might run you into serious issues!
