Vatican 2

 

Now this is my second Vatican shirt, which I bought from the official shop of the Vatican museums, as the first one I own was never worn. I was convinced by the plenty of pictures you will find of this shirt on Vatican players. One of those is above. Digging a bit deeper, however, it seems like this design was never worn, too. For the match from the pic above, e.g., the players threw away this shirt as soon as they entered the stadium, apparently, to wear a completely different shirt instead. And when I say "completely different", I mean a decades old Asics shirt they must have found somewhere.

So as things stand, I own two "official Vatican national team shirts" and a full zero of shirts the Vatican ever wore. Frustrating. If anyone has any clue how to get an ACTUAL Vatican shirt, let me know!
