It's not hard to find a Honduras shirt online. While it isn't exactly a top 10 team, their shirts are widely available globally - and surprisingly cheap. But, they are all quite plain, too. A white shirt, sometimes with a single blue stripe. I got two of such Honduras shirt.

But then, I stumbled over this one on ebay. It is just a mental design with Mayan reliefs all over the blue, wavy stripes of this banger. It looked almost too good to be true. So I spent days searching for historic Honduras football pictures. Did they ever actually wear this? It turns out they did, as the picture above shows. Probably in just a single match - possibly in a second match vs. Venezuela, which I cannot find a picture of.

So I snapped it up, once I had my proof pic. It cost me about 40€ only and I really couldn't be more pleased with it. A nice Honduras shirt is a rare addition to the collection, for sure!
