Indonesia at the AFF Suzuki Cup 2013

Already a year ago I was positive to finish Asia "soon". As you see on the statistics of my blog this did still not happen unfortunately... but with this Indonesia shirt another huge step into the right direction was made.
It is a brilliant design, which unfortunately reflects a lot and thus does not look perfectly well on the pictures I made. However, Indonesia did a great job here!
To me Indonesia is a bit bizarre in football. Football is extremely popular in Indonesia and the local Super League is always well visited. But still the level seems quite bad for a country with that many citizens. That is - for example - reflected in the fact that they played friendlies in early 2014 against to much smaller nations and only won 1:0 vs. Andorra and even lost 0:1 to Cuba.
If there is anyone out there who has any information on the reason that this amazing country does not do better in football please let me know!
