Gabon

The story about the story is amazing. It is probably the sweetest gift I became for my collection. I wrote a mail to the German embassy in Libreville, Gabon, on 6.7.2011. They did not answer for month and so I did not expect an answer anymore. Then I got a mail of them in the middle October which said that they are so for not answering so long and want to know my size for sending me a shirt. Today I became the parcel with a shirt, a Gabon bag and a letter which is pretty sweet. Here is the translation of what it says:

"Dear Mr Tillmann,

the embassy Libreville is happy to finaly send you your requested shirt of the Gabon football national team. Besides the shirt has a badge of the upcoming African Cup of Nations. To make you even happier, we attached a bag with the Gabon flag-colors. We hope that we fulfilled your request by this.

With kind regards from the far Libreville,

Zita ADA MEZUI"

So thanks the embassy for the shirt. I am kind of fascinated by there kindness !!! :)

Panama

 

Some weeks ago Enrique, a collector from Mexico, contacted me and we did a swap now. The first result is this Panama shirt and the above Venezuela shirt. It is somehow crazy that this shirt comes armless, but it seems to be official for me. Muchas gracias Enrique !The shirt is pretty nice and I am happy to know you :)

I got this shirt on ebay again. It cost me about 10 € including the postage. The design is of the World Cup 2010 in South Africa. I really like this shirts design a lot.

Dominica

I got this great Dominica shirt from a player of the national team, Colin Bernard. I got 2 shirts of him and will get a third one in the next weeks. I am really thankful for this contact as Dominica seems to be one of the hardest to get countries in the world. To proove that this shirt is official I added a match picture. It was pretty hard to believe for me that this is the official logo of the Dominica FA, but it was in fact.
